Before the inception of HR and Legal department, work was being done in an unorganized manner. But this development and appointment of HR and Legal Officer have improved overall situation of the hospital affairs to a great extent. Attendance of both clinical and support staff is being monitored regularly and as a result, overall attendance of staff has improved and made accountable. The purpose of HR department at THQ Hospital Yazman is to provide a well-trained, skilled and able workforce to contribute towards the highest level of healthcare service delivery. The HR and Legal department at this hospital is dealing with the official matters of all staff members including doctors, nurses, AHPs, paramedics, and support staff.

Functions

The functions of HR department are:

  • Issuance of monthly duty rosters and special duty roster of Eid, Muharram etc. of all clinical and non-clinical staff of the hospital
  • Issuance of transfer/posting orders within hospital
  • Taking joining from new incumbents and charge relieving orders of relinquishing officials
  • File maintenance of all employees of the hospital
  • Leave record of employees
  • Counselling of staff
  • Handling grievances of employees
  • Record of all inquiries of employees of hospital
  • Adjustment of officials on duty during leave(s) of concerned employee(s)
  • Any other HR related function assigned by NMS, HR, Finance, MS and P and SHD
  • Taking care of litigation/legal issues of hospital (shall ensure all court cases are well attended and all legal matters of hospital are well taken care of)
  • All of the working is done by HR and Legal Officer but signatory authority is Medical Superintendent of this hospital
  • All legal formalities are fulfilled and every task is done with the approval of the MS and all administration team
