The goal of pathology examination of tissue is to provide accurate, specific and sufficiently comprehensive diagnoses to enable the treating physician to develop an optimal plan of treatment. Pathology Laboratory at THQ Hospital Yazman is equipped with most advanced diagnostic equipment to facilitate patients towards their diagnosis and treatment plan. Pathology Lab is concerned with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases and allied health workers provide accurate diagnostic services 24/7. Patients report to Reception Desk after getting advice from doctor. The Reception staff registers the sample/patient with registration number, investigations required, time of collection of sample, gender and date. Only trained staff handles the sample or specimen as all samples are dealt as infectious/hazardous material and their proper handling is ensured.
